The New Site
A great advantage of the new FlyTF homepage is that it is so closely related to a website that many Drosophila biologists frequently use: FlyMine.
*We provide many different entry points for your queries. You may seek information for one gene at the time by simple entering its name, symbol or any other identifier in the toolbar.
*You can also upload and manage gene lists for batch queries using the List tool. Any information in FlyTF can be queried either using one of the pre-defined Template queries, or by using the QueryBuilder. These tools can also be used to retrieve any information for bulk download.
If you have any questions about how to use the many features in FlyTF, please see the FlyMine help pages or follow the “?” on each of our pages.
FlyTF is an integrated database of genomic and protein data for Drosophila site-specific transcription factors. We are using the InterMine framework, providing our users with the same look & feel as the FlyMine website which many Drosophila biologists know.
Please, if you are using FlyTF in your research, please cite Adryan & Teichmann, Bioinformatics, (2006).
